One year ago, I attended LinuxWorld; for the first time. I had high expectations for the conference and the exhibitors. It wasn’t a bad show. There was some “hype” and excitement about Linux. However, the year that has not been a year of gib advances in the Linux footprint within datacenters or desktops. Now - before the Linux geeks get their undies in a bind - think about it….
Microsoft Announces Touch Screen Technology Will Be Incorporated in Windows - Big Deal!
May 29th, 2008 No CommentsOkay, I have to call “technology crap announcement” when I see it announced as a technology breakthrough. Maybe for Windows, it really is. The idea of touch screen technology, interactive White-boards running Windows software, and then their big “Touch Wall!” Quite frankly, it’s ho-hum. It’s already here, already in use, and touch screens for that matter have been in use by other antiquated O/S technology since 1988!
